Explosion at Shanghai garbage plant

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) A massive explosion at a trash incinerator in Shanghai killed at least one person and injured five on Thursday (December 5), state media reports. Aerial shots of the site broadcast by CCTV showed the 400 square meter plant completely blown apart. The blast occurred at around 3.30pm local time (0730GMT) when an unknown substance ignited, CCTV said. Around one hundred rescue workers had already pulled out five survivors, who were sent to hospital. The search was ongoing for one still missing on Thursday evening, the report said.
