Patron Kate presents Sports Aid award

Normally all eyes are on her, but on Friday the Duchess of Cambridge put someone else in the spotlight. 16-year-old Amber Hill received the "One-to-Watch Award" at the annual Sports Aid ball in London. The young skeet shooter is tipped for success - hoping for gold at the Rio 2016 Olympics. The Duchess Catherine, also known as Kate, left her four month old son George at home to attend. It was the first time she's presented the prestigious award since becoming a a patron of the charity earlier this year. Sports Aid provides financial support to up and coming young athletes.
