Filipinos react to Pacquiao win

A bit of good news for Filipinos Sunday as they cheered home town hero Manny "Pac Man" Pacquiao to a boxing victory in Macau. Thousands crowded into Tacloban's convention center and cheered as Pacquiao beat Brandon Rios for the welterweight title. The city broadcast the match in several locations...including here in an open field amongst the debris still left by the devastating typhoon. Typhoon survivors said his win gives them hope and provided a welcome distraction from their troubles. (SOUNDBITE) (Filipino) TYPHOON SURVIVOR NENITA MALE SAYING: "It was a good fight by Pacquiao. He fought for the typhoon victims. He fought for us. We will rise again. Pacquiao lifted us up." After his victory, Pacquiao thanked his countrymen and women for their support and vowed to visit the typhoon survivors.
