ME ME ME!: Oxford Dictionary Crowns ‘Selfie’ as Word of the Year

Oxford english dictionary crowns "selfie" as word of the year. The self-absorbed activity beats out "twerk." "Selfie" has jumped to 17,000% since last year. It was first used in an Aussie chat room in 2002. And now there are new words thanks to "selfie," like "helfie," a hair pic, "belfie," a shot of your backside and "welfie," a workout photo.
