Clinton, Xi meet in Beijing

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday (November 18) in Beijing. Xi and Clinton held talks in Beijing's Great Hall of the People with delegates from both China and U.S. present. Clinton told Xi that he was honoured to be back in China and he cherished the established relationship of trust, which enabled the world's two biggest economies to deal with common interests and manage disagreements. Clinton on Sunday (November 17) attended Global Summit of SME Leaders in Guangzhou, which aims to discuss the current issues and difficulties facing the development of international small and medium-size enterprises, Chinese local media said.
