Prince Charles visits Muslim saint's tomb

Britain's Prince Charles paid a visit to a famous mosque during his nine-day trip to India. The Haji Ali Dargah is one of the most renowned religious destinations in Mumbai, and is the resting place of Muslim saint Haji Ali, a wealthy 15th century merchant who is said to have given up his earthly possessions to make a pilgrimage to the holy Muslim city of Mecca. The Prince of Wales is known to have a profound interest in Islamic art and culture, and visited the holy shrine amid tight security. Prince Charles and his wife Camila, Duchess of Cornwall are on their third official visit to India to strengthen bilateral ties between London and New Delhi. The royal couple's visit will end on November 14, when they'LL leave for neighboring Sri Lanka.
