An estimated 10,000 killed in Tacloban city alone

Death, devastation and desperation as far as the eye can see in the city of Tacolban in the central Philippines. In this city alone it's believed 10,000 people died when typhoon Haiyan tore a path through the country on Friday. International relief efforts have begun to pick up, with tens of millions of dollars being pledged in aid. The UN says about 660,000 people have been displaced, many without food, water or medicine.
