Heartbreak across the Philippines

A path of destruction lies across the Philippines. Downed trees, crushed houses and body bags are everywhere. So is heartbreak. (SOUNDBITE) (Filipino) UNIDENTIFIED EVACUEE, SAYING: "Only a few moments. Just a few moments and we would all be saved, but I accidentally let go of my child's hand. I guess it was her sacrifice because she knew that if I kept carrying her, both of us would have drowned." This view from space captured the deadly typhoon - known as Haiyan - raging across the region on Saturday. After leaving at least 10,000 people dead in the Philippines, Haiyan downgraded into a tropical storm before making landfall in Vietnam on Monday. There is lashed the shores with gusts and floodwaters.
