A senior leader of the al-Qaida-linked Haqqani network has been shot dead in Pakistan's capital. Taliban sources and intelligence officials say unknown gunmen killed Nasiruddin Haqqani Sunday night, and that his body has been taken to the North Waziristan tribal region to be buried.
