New York's De Blasio Would Drop Stop-and-frisk Appeal: Source

A person close to his campaign said Bill de Blasio, the leading candidate to become the next New York City mayor, plans to drop the city's legal challenge to sweeping court-ordered reforms to its police stop-and-frisk program. On Thursday, a U.S. appeals court ruled that the judge who found the police tactic unconstitutional had "ran afoul" of the judicial code of conduct and froze her ruling from taking effect.
