Toronto mayor controversy

Toronto's mayor Rob Ford has been at the centre of a controversy since May when reporters first said they'd been shown video in which he allegedly smokes crack cocaine. Now Canadian police say they've obtained video footage which appears to match the reported images. They aren't saying what the video shows. (SOUNDBITE)(English) TORONTO POLICE CHIEF BILL BLAIR SAYING: "We are now in possession of a recovered digital video file relevant to those investigations that have been conducted. That file contains video images which appear to be those images which were previously reported in the press." Ford's denied he smokes crack but says he can't speak out because the video is evidence in another case. (SOUNDBITE)(English) TORONTO MAYOR ROB FORD SAYING: "I think everyone has seen the allegations against me today. I wish I could come out and defend myself but unfortunately I can't because it's before the courts and that's all I can say right now."
