Police arrest student protesters in Egypt

Egypt's top university for Islamic teachings became the latest symbol of turmoil Wednesday. Security officials entered the campus to crack down on student protesters just hours after the arrest of a prominent Muslim Brotherhood leader. The clashes left windows smashed and administrative offices trashed. Students had tagged the building with graffiti, criticizing the head of the armed forces. Police arrested an unknown amount of students throughout the day. The country continues to experience frequent fights in the wake of the July removal of former Islamist President Mohamed Mursi.
