Pope, World Bank Chief Discuss Joining Forces to Fight Poverty

World Bank President Jim Kim and Pope Francis have discussed better ways to jointly fight poverty. The two met Monday at the Vatican for almost half an hour.   Kim has made eradicating extreme poverty in one generation his top priority.   Pope Francis has been urging members and officials of his church to do far more to serve the poorest in society.   The pontiff is the spiritual leader of the world's more than one billion Catholics.   The World Bank is a source of ...
