Suicide bomber kills at least 30 in Syria's Hama

The aftermath of a suicide truck bomb in Syria, broadcast on state TV. At least 30 people were killed here on Sunday, dozens more wounded. It happened on the outskirts of Syria's central city, Hama. State media blamed rebels trying to topple President Bashar al-Assad. Syria's rebels have been joined by hardline Islamists, some of them linked to al Qaeda. The bombing comes the same day the Arab League announced dates for renewed peace talks in Geneva, aimed at ending the protracted civil war. Arab League chief Nabil Elaraby speaking in Cairo on Sunday: (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE ARAB LEAGUE, NABIL ELARABY, SAYING: "It was decided that the Geneva meeting would take place on November 23 and arrangements are being made to prepare for this conference.
