Explosion Kills 21 in Southern Syria

Syrian activists have announced an explosion has hit a vehicle in southern Syria, killing at least 21 people, including six women and four children. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the blast happened early Wednesday as the vehicle was traveling near Tel al-Juma, in Daraa province. Activists blamed forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad for planting explosives in the road. The Observatory said there is an army outpost nearby that is besieged by rebel fighters. ...
