Kerry-Karzai security talks make progress; car bomb kills four

After two days talks between U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, a new security deal could be on the horizon. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY, SAYING: "We have resolved in these last 24 hours the major issues that the president worked through, we have resolved those issues." However, much of the deal depends on the issue of immunity for U.S. troops in Afghanistan. The U.S. is insisting it cannot agree to a deal unless it is granted the right to try citizens who break the law in Afghanistan at home. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE, JOHN KERRY, SAYING: "We need to say that if the issue of jurisdiction cannot be resolved, then unfortunately there cannot be a bilateral security agreement.
