Dozens killed in explosions across Baghdad

Blood spills on the streets of Baghdad as dozens die in a series of attacks across the Iraqi capital. Eight of the 10 blasts in were in mainly Shi'ite districts. In the deadliest attack, a parked car blew up on a commercial street killing five people. A surge of violence has killed more than 6,000 people across Iraq this year, reversing a decline in sectarian bloodshed that hit a climax in 2006-07.
