Search for bodies resumes in Lampedusa

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Rescue divers on Sunday morning prepared their equipment in Lampedusa port to resume a search for the bodies of more than 100 migrants killed when their boat sank off the southern Italian island of Lampedusa. Rough seas have blocked efforts to recover the bodies trapped inside the submerged boat that sank on Thursday, killing an estimated 300 Eritrean and Somali men, women and children who were seeking a better life in Europe. The bodies of 111 migrants have been recovered so far and are laid out in inside an airport hangar used as a temporary morgue. Rescue teams expect to find more than 100 others in and around the wreck, submerged in 47 meters of water less than a kilometer or 0.6 miles from the shore of Lampedusa.
