Calm returns to Mombasa after day of riots

Calm returns to Kenya's main port city of Mombasa Saturday a day after Muslim youths set fire to a church and clashed with police, leaving at least four people dead, following the killing of an Islamic cleric. The Salvation Army church was torched and the main road into the city was blocked after the fatal shooting of Sheikh Ibrahim Omar Thursday night. Sheikh Omar has been linked to the Somali al Shabaab group, which claimed responsibility for last month's assault on the Westgate shopping center. The imam was shot on the outskirts of Mombasa close to where another firebrand cleric, was killed last year in a strikingly similar attack. His supporters say they believe Kenyan security forces are behind the deaths.
