Welcome to Hermes' jungle

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: French label Hermes took Paris Fashion Week back to nature on Wednesday (October 2) with a collection that blossomed for Spring/Summer 2014. With a restrained palette of grays and greens, designer Christophe Lemaire's show was all understated elegance with calf-covering hemlines and mid-length sleeves. The show was set against the foliage at the orangerie of the Jardin du Luxembourg, which seemed the perfect setting for a spring-like collection that featured floral prints. Muted creams and yellows and loose-fitting trench coats lightened the tone of several longer leather designs. The Hermes show was among the last at Paris Fashion Week, which also saw collections by Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Valentino.
