Reporters Without Borders demands an explanation from the American border control as to why Ilja Trojanow was denied access to the United States. The German writer/journalist was stopped at the Salvador da Bahia airport (Brazil) on September 30, 2013, as he was about to board a flight to Miami. He was denied any explanation although according to our sources his travel documents were in order. Considering Trojanow's past work, his only crime could be his views on surveillance.
