At least 33 killed in Pesharwar blast

Graphic images from Peshawar after two bomb blasts kill at least 33 people and wound at least 70 others on Sunday. Rescue teams pull bodies and injured victims with blood stained clothes from the still smoldering ruins. Police say it happened outside a police station in an area crowded with shops and families. Many of the injured were brought to Lady Reading hospital for treatment. Islamist violence has been on the rise for months in Pakistan. It was only last week when Taliban insurgents attacked an Anglican church- also in Pesharwar- killing more than 80. So far, no one has claimed responsibility for this recent attack.
