British women admit Peru drug charges

Britons Michaella McCollum Connolly and Melissa Reid arrive at court in the Peruvian capital to face drugs charges. It was a brief appearance. The pair pleaded guilty to drug trafficking. The women, both aged 20, were held at Lima airport in August after cocaine worth 2.3 million dollars was found in their luggage. They said an armed gang had forced them to take the drugs to Peru against their will. The women are due to appear in court again next month. They'll be sentenced at a further hearing after that. The lead prosecutor in the case says they face jail terms of nearly seven years. But officials say there's a chance they could be allowed to serve out their sentences in the UK
