Cher announces tour, says 'didn't like' Cyrus' VMA performance

Cher is setting out to conquer the 'Woman's World.' The legendary singer announced on Monday (September 23) that she is embarking on a North American tour to celebrate her new studio album, "Closer To The Truth." Cher will hit 49 cities, launching in Phoenix in March and winding up in San Diego next July. SOUNDBITE: Cher saying (English): "I've got ideas for using new technology and I'm extremely excited about that part of it. I like the new songs; I hope I get to do some of those. I'd like to do "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" and "Welcome to Burlesque" because I just think that's so campy and fun. You know, concerts should just be fun." Fun, but don't expect the singer - who has a history of provocative performances under her belt - to do any Miley Cyrus-style twerking on tour.
