FBI identifies shooting suspect

Officials say at least 13 people are dead after a gunman opened fire at the U.S. Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. Washington, D.C. Mayor Vincent Grey. SOUNDBITE: Washington, D.C. Mayor Vincent Grey, saying: "Again, I want to extend on behalf of the entire city, those who are with us, our heartfelt condolences to the families of those who were killed in this horrific tragedy. We know that there are thirteen fatalities at this stage, twelve of which occured on the site including the shooter, and then one of whom who died at the hospital." The FBI identified the suspected shooter as 34-year-old Aaron Alexis of Fort Worth, Texas - a former civilian contractor for the Navy. Earlier in the day, authorities had said they were searching for two men possibly connected to the shooting - but established one of the men was not a suspect. During a press conference Monday night, Washington Police Chief Cathy Lanier said a "shelter in place" order was still in effect
