Japan animation maestro Miyazaki retires

Anime film director Hayao Miyazaki is serious about retiring from long-form film. Known for animated films like the Oscar-winning "Spirited Away," Miyazaki has teased before that he would step away, but this time, he said he means it. SOUNDBITE: Hayao Miyazaki saying (Japanese): "I'm a person who's said that I'll quit quite a few times before and caused quite a fuss, so I can imagine people thinking 'oh no, not again'. But this time, I really am serious." The reason for retirement? The 72-year old said he's just getting too old. His latest movie, "The Wind Rises," is already a box-office hit in Japan and just had its worldwide premiere in Venice.
