Miley Cyrus twerks away Hannah Montana

The once squeaky-clean Disney star is now a 20-year-old pop princess who left tongues wagging after her August 25th MTV Video Music Awards appearance. After performing her new single "We Can't Stop", then teaming up with Robin Thicke for "Blurred Lines", the girl once known as "Hannah Montana" has been caught in a firestorm of criticism. Within minutes of hitting the stage, social media exploded with Cyrus-related tweets setting a record with over 300,000 tweets-per-minute -- totaling 4.5 million mentions. Singer Kelly Clarkson took notice and tweeted: "Just saw a couple performances from the VMA's last night. 2 words…. #pitchystrippers."
