Father reunites with son feared killed in chemical attack

A father in Syria is supported by friends as he is reunited with a son he thought was killed in a chemical weapons attack late week. He clings to the boy he thought was lost as others chant, 'God is great.' The video which can not be independently verified by Reuters shows a man overwhelmed after facing the deepest fear of any parent. He clings tight with his son in his arms. For many, there are no such reunions. Scores of children died in a chemical attack last week in the Syrian capital. That attack is now at the center of international debate over how to respond to a weapons attack that most of the world deems unfit - even in war. The country itself has been engulfed in civil war for more than two and half years, and there are few signs of resolution. But, at least for one man, joy has returned to his future.
