One Direction: We're just normal guys

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: British-Irish boy band One Direction brought their 3D movie, "This Is Us" to the United States for its New York premiere on Monday (August 26). The five member band was formed on the UK television singing competition "The X Factor" in 2010 by TV personality and producer Simon Cowell. Over the course of three years Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, have built a devoted fan base around the world of mainly teenage girls. "This Is Us" is a 3D look at the group's rise to fame and a look at life through their eyes. "I think the main thing we wanted to show is how genuine our friendship is, you know, between us five. And you know, how well we get on. And how much we pull each other through it," said Malik. "We're just normal guys," added Payne. The movie will be released in the United States on August 30th.
