MLB bans 13 players, only A-Rod still in denial

Major League Baseball finally made a move after months of talk and suspended Alex Rodriguez through the end of the 2014 season and suspended 12 others for 50 games, including Nelson Cruz of the Texas Rangers, Everth Cabrera of the San Diego Padres and Jhonny Peralta of the Detroit Tigers. The other 12 players have accepted their punishments, but the guiltiest of them all, A-Rod refuses to accept his inevitable fate. A-Rod is planning to take his case before an arbitrator. A-Rod's suspension starts on Thursday, but since Rodriguez is planning to appeal, he is allowed to keep playing, maybe even for the rest of the season. "Obviously I'm disappointed with the news today," A-Rod said at a news conference before Monday's Yankees game against the Chicago White Sox. "What we've always fought for is the process and I think we have that and I think at some point we'll sit in front of an arbiter and we'll give our case. That's as much as I feel comfortable saying right now." So basically, Rodriguez wasted everyone's time by talking about how much he loves baseball and the fans, but didn't answer any of the questions that everyone actually cared about. Nice A-Rod. MLB commissioner Bud Selig announced that Alex's ban begins Thursday and includes the rest of the 2013 season and the 2014 regular season and was covered under the drug program's protocols and based on A-Rod's use of PEDs over the course of multiple years. After talk of a lifetime ban, Bud Selig showed he clearly lacks the baseballs, and is only looking for a 211-game suspension which A-Rod will fight tooth and nail in arbitration. Maybe this is a turning point for the future of baseball. A-Rod continually talks about the fans. For the sake of the fans, A-Rod needs to do everyone a favor and just disappear. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Daily videos brought to you by THE Taiwanese Animators behind the infamous Tiger Woods animation.
