Blind Military Dog Enjoying Life With New Family

The dog named Asur spent a year in Afghanistan, but he became disabled after losing his eyes. Now, he is back in America, living with a new family.A blind military dog is getting a new life with a human family. Asur is a former Marine and bomb-sniffing dog. Asur spent a year in Afghanistan, but he became disabled after losing his eyes. Veterinarians believe the chemicals from sniffing bombs caused him to lose his eyes. Now, he is back in America, living with Bonnie-Jill and Ross Laflin in Nevada, founders of Hounds and Heroes, a nonprofit organization supporting military troops and pet adoptions. They claimed the German Shepherd has gotten used to having downtime, spending quite a bit of it on the couch.The Laflins stated “He’s just sweet.
