Henry Cavill 'got lucky' with Man of Steel role

After 75 years Superman continues to soar. Now the superhero is back in the big budget Man of Steel -- and stepping into that famous red cape is rising British star Henry Cavill. At the New York world premiere he explained that securing the role was a much quicker process than he expected. SOUNDBITE, Henry Cavill, actor, saying (English): "I sort of had the movie within a month and a half. And that's unheard of as far as my experience goes. Normally it's, you know, four months of general meetings. And meetings sort of with directors and producers and auditions and a couple of screen tests. And this time around I just got lucky." Director Zach Snyder has revamped the tale of a boy born on Krypton and raised on earth with super powers in an effort to make audiences connect more with the character.
