Thousands of Blockupy protesters gather in Frankfurt

A drumroll for a second day of anti-capitalist protests in Frankfurt. Up to 20,000 people are expected to gather in Germany's financial capital to protest the handling of the European financial crisis - one of a number of Europe-wide rallies planned for June 1. The protests coincide with fresh EU statistics showing that euro zone unemployment reached a new high of 12.2 percent in April. Many called for leaders to change their policies.
