Israel prepares for chemical attack

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday attended the third day of a nationwide drill set up to help prepare Israelis and their military for potential confrontation on land and at sea. Israeli soldiers simulated reactions to a chemical attack, wearing protective gear and acting as if they were treating wounded from chemical agents while others doused a fire. Also, a model of a missile with the letters reading 'Iran Fajr-5' was on display in reference to the Iranian-made rocket with a 75 km (46 mile) range and a 175 kg (385 pound) warhead, powerful enough to shear through a concrete apartment block. Netanyahu said last week that Iran's nuclear programme was the "biggest challenge of our times."
