The Dutch land in Cannes

The Dutch make a return to the Cannes film festival. The cast and director of "Borgman" brought the first film from the Netherlands to the festival in 38 years. The movie, which is up for the coveted Palme d'Or, weaves a feeling of menace through an oddly humorous plot in which a strange wild-haired man slowly infiltrates himself and his henchmen into the life of a well-to-do family. Part domestic drama, part Robocop -- with a finale reminiscent of Hamlet -- "Borgman" is hard to categorize, but audiences are engrossed over its grisly humor. The festival runs until May 26th when the winner of the Palme d'Or is announced.
