Space trio welcomed in Kazakhstan

Back to earth - the first Canadian astronaut to command the International Space Station and his American and Russian crewmates are given a traditional welcome in Kazakhstan. The trio touched down earlier on Tuesday, with their Soyuz capsule raising clouds of dust as it ignited an engine to cushion its landing. Canadian Chris Hadfield, NASA astronaut Tom Marshburn and Russian cosmonaut Roman Romanenko were covered with thermal blankets as they awaited medical tests after their landing. The three had completed a five month mission aboard the 100 billion U.S. dollar International Space Station. Hadfield also made history on Monday when he released the first music video shot in space - a zero gravity version of David Bowie's Space Oddity. Speaking in Russian, he said the mission had been a big part of their lives and that it was 'part of humanity to be in space.'
