Gunfire at New Orleans Mother's Day parade

Gunfire erupted at a Mother's Day parade in New Orleans. At least nineteen people were shot, ten men, seven women and two children. (SOUNDBITE) (English) NEW ORLEANS POLICE DEPARTMENT (NOPD) SUPERINTENDENT RONAL SERPAS SAYING: "It appears that these two or three people just for a reason unknown to us started shooting at, towards, or in the crowd. It was over in just a couple of seconds, police where everywhere." Officers saw three suspects running away although no arrests have been made so far. (SOUNDBITE) (English) NEW ORLEANS MAYOR MITCH LANDRIEU SAYING: "We are going to find this person but we need the public's help. And this is worth repeating: there were hundreds of people there, and somebody saw something, and somebody saw something that they know.
