Aerosmith halts Jakarta show

Aerosmith gets silenced. The American rock band canceled their Indonesian concert due to security concerns. Jakarta was put on high terror alert last week after counter-terrorism police said they had foiled a planned attack on the Myanmar embassy. It is the second major concert to be canceled in Jakarta over the past year. For some fans the cancellation is disappointing. SOUNDBITE: Leila Assegaf, Aerosmith fan, saying (English): "I have been waiting for Aerosmith for years now and I know that Steven Tyler is getting old so maybe they wouldn't be back around this region for a long time." Aerosmith is on the Asia-Pacific leg of their world tour - next the group will perform in the Philippines and Japan.
