Afghan quake kills at least four, wounds 69.

At least four people died when an earthquake measuring 5.7 hit eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday. Officials say rain had weakened the traditional mud-brick buildings causing hundreds of homes to collapse. Scores of the injured are being treated at this hospital in Jalalabad. (SOUNDBITE) (Pashto) HEAD OF NANGARHAR REGIONAL HOSPITAL, DOCTOR ZAMAN ZAHIR, SAYING: "Up to now we have recovered 70 people who have been wounded in the earthquake, 35 of those wounded are from different districts of Nangarhar. We are keeping them here for treatment." The earthquake was felt as far away as the Indian capital New Delhi, the latest in a string of tremors to shake Asia this month.
