Christopher Walken turns 70 on March 31

Hollywood's most celebrated anti-hero, Christopher Walken, will celebrate his 70th birthday on Sunday (March 31). Born in 1943 in Queens, New York, the Oscar-winning actor has become one of the most famous faces in Hollywood. Walken began working as a theater actor in his late teens, but didn't make his big screen break through until 1977, in Woody Allen's film, "Annie Hall." One year later, he went on to win a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in "The Deer Hunter." Since then, Walken has appeared in more than 100 films, often playing edgy, dark characters. But more recently, he's become a go-to comedic actor, appearing multiple times on "Saturday Night Live" and taking on humorous roles in films like "The Stepford Wives" and "Seven Psychopaths." Walken also earned critical praise - and an Oscar nomination - for his supporting role in "Catch Me If You Can," playing the father of real-life con artist Frank Abagnale, Jr.
