Ed Asner hospitalized, Bob Dylan honored

Ed Asner was rushed to a hospital on Tuesday (March 12) night while performing his one-man show, "FDR," in Gary, Indiana. The 83-year old actor appeared disoriented on stage and started slurring his words. Doctors said it appears to be exhaustion and not stroke-related. Asner is most famous for his role on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and most recently, for voicing the character lead in the animated film, "Up." Bob Dylan will be the first rock star to become an honorary member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Officials said they had trouble over whether the singer should be voted in for his words or his music, so instead decided to make him an honorary member. He now joins the likes of Meryl Streep, Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese who have been accepted into the elite club. Motown founder Berry Gordy will receive the Pioneer Award at this year's Songwriters Hall of Fame gala. The producer signed the likes of Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder and The J
