'Unforeseen circumstances' cause Bieber gig cancellation

Justin Bieber has cancelled one of his two scheduled concerts in Portugal this week, the local tour promoter Everything is New announced on their website. Citing unforeseen circumstances, the gig on Tuesday March 12 is no longer happening but he is expected to hit the stage tonight. One Portugese newspaper has reported that the cancellation is due to poor ticket sales, but website Gossip Cop reports that Bieber's manager Scooter Braun has said that it is down to "logistical problems with the unions" and "issues with load out" - referring to the time given to break down and pack up a performer's set. Bieber had what he described on Twitter as a "rough week" during his performances in London. He showed up late for a show leading to widespread anger and then was caught on film having an expletive-ridden altercation with a photographer.
