Huge asteroid whizzes past Earth

(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION) A newly discovered asteroid the size of a football field passed by Earth on Saturday (March 9). The 330-foot-wide (100 meters) asteroid 2013 ET came about 600,000 miles (960,000 kilometres) from Earth when it passed by. Asteroid 2013 passed by at a distance about 2.5 times the distance between Earth and the Moon making it too far away for the naked eye and most star gazers but Slooh Space Camera was able to capture the asteroid from the Canary Island Observatory.
