Thirty injured in China earthquake

Official state news agency Xinhua said no deaths had been reported, but three people were in serious condition. More than 80,000 homes and water and power lines were damaged in the 5.5-magnitude earthquake, which struck Liantie township on Sunday (March 3) afternoon, Xinhua said quoting Yunnan's Civil Affairs Department. Footage from Chinese state television CCTV showed rescue workers searching through the rubble.
