Adam Ant bursts back onto the music scene

(Version anglaise seulement)
Pop icon Adam Ant stormed the music charts in the 1980s. But he crashed out of the business in 1995 - exhausted and battling mental illness. Now, after a nearly 20-year hiatus - he's back with new record. (CLIP FROM 'COOL ZOMBIE' MUSIC VIDEO) Ant said his low point came in 2002, when he was briefly sectioned after confronting a man with a starting gun. (SOUNDBITE) (English) ADAM ANT, MUSICIAN, SAYING: "Oh yeah, that was absolutely the worst part of my life, totally...I made very bad mistakes there for which I paid the price and I will never do again." Now, along with a reveived passion for music, Ant is developing a fashion line while working on a screenplay of his autobiography, "Stand and Deliver". And when asked who could pull off the role of Adam Ant... (SOUNDBITE) (English) ADAM ANT, ON WHO MIGHT PLAY HIM IN HIS PLANNED BIOPIC, SAYING: "Johnny Depp's a bit old now. But I think James Franco could do it" For now though, Adam Ant is content to focus on his music once again. (SOUNDBITE) (English) ADAM ANT, MUSICIAN, SAYING: "But I am absolutely surprised that I have been able to enjoy as long career as I have, and bringing out a new piece of work now, and that's what you're judged by."
