Philippines: ICRC calls for 30 million Swiss francs to support typhoon victims

With humanitarian needs still staggeringly high more than two months after typhoon Bopha (locally known as Pablo) devastated the south-eastern Philippines, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is appealing for close to 30 million Swiss francs (over 30 million US dollars) in additional funding to support its aid operations for hundreds of thousands of survivors.
