Pope's brother says he knew of resignation

What close aides did not know, the brother did. Georg Ratzinger, the older brother of Pope Benedict XVI, says he's known for some time his brother was going to resign as head of the Catholic Church. He says the Pope told him the news over the telephone. (SOUNDBITE) (German) GEORG RATZINGER, BROTHER OF POPE BENEDICT XVI, SAYING: "It was not a dramatic discussion, he just told me, saying that he suspected I would not be happy about it, but there was no drama involved. He just said it very naturally and neutrally." The 89 year-old Ratzinger, who lives in the southern German town of Regensburg, says he didn't want to "interfere" in the Pope's choice to resign, and respects his brother's decision.
