Stars shine at Oscar nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills

At the annual Oscar luncheon, A-list nominees mingled at a banquet where everyone is a winner. Ben Affleck, who raked in top directing honors at the Golden Globe, Directors Guild, Screen Actors Guild and Critics' Choice awards for Iran hostage movie "Argo," addressed his best director Oscar snub at the luncheon. SOUNDBITE: Ben Affleck, "Argo" director, saying (English): "I mean we got seven nominations including best picture, I'm elated by that, truly, genuinely thrilled and like I said, there are nine amazing movies, any of which could win, any of which would deserve to win if they did, so I don't get into worrying about who got what and who didn't get what. I've had many, many, many, many, many years watching from home." Amy Adams, nominated for a best supporting actress Oscar for "The Master," told the media she was having fun at the luncheon. SOUNDBITE: Amy Adams, "The Master" co-star, saying (English): "Sorry you just interrupted my flirting with Bradley Cooper and Christoph Waltz, I kind of ran out here." SOUNDBITE: Reporter, saying (English): "Who was more receptive?" SOUNDBITE: Amy Adams, "The Master" co-star, saying (English): "They're both pretty open so, I say it's going to be a good lunch for me." The 85th annual Academy Awards will be broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 24.
