Turkish police find body of missing American tourist

An American tourist seen here in airport security footage has been found dead in Istanbul. Sarai Sierra of New York went missing during a trip to Turkey. Police have arrested nine people on suspicion of murder after finding her body near the historic walls of the city. An avid photographer, Sierra had traveled alone after a friend planning to join her pulled out at the last minute. The 33-year-old flew to Turkey on January 7, from where she also visited the Netherlands and Germany before returning to Istanbul on January 19. After Sierra failed to show up for her January 22 return flight to the US, her husband and brother traveled to Istanbul to help search for her. The body of the mother of two has yet to be formally identified, but authorities found Sierra's driver's license on the corpse.
