Tenth hostage victim arrives in Japan

(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION) The remains of the former JGC Corp vice president who was killed in a siege by militants in Algeria was returned to Japan on Saturday (January 26). Japan's Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and JGC President Koichi Kawana laid flowers on the casket and observed a minute of silence. The casket was taken to where the family members of Tadanori Aratani were waiting, according to local media reports. Japanese media said the body would be taken to a hospital where police will conduct a post-mortem examination to identify the exact cause of death. Japan has suffered the most casualties in the attack on the Algerian gas field with the number of deaths totalling 10 dead, along with the Philippines.
